How to Perfectly Apply Wallcoverings

Prepare and Prime

Prep Your Surface

Clean and dry the surface thoroughly where you'll apply the wallpaper. Remove any residue, dirt, and old wallcoverings. Fix any damage and make sure the surface is smooth.

Prime Your Surface

Priming the walls boosts adhesion, improves durability, and creates a protective layer between the wallpaper and the wall. ROMAN Primer is the best choice for great results.

Apply ROMAN Adhesive

Cut the wallpaper before applying the glue. Use a paint roller to apply a thin layer of ROMAN adhesive to the back of the wallpaper. Start from the center and work towards the edges to create an even layer, making sure there's enough paste on the seams. After pasting the whole sheet, you can put the first strip on the wall. Smooth out the wallcovering and remove any extra adhesive or paper.

Using ROMAN Ultra® PRO - 880 Clear Strippable Wallpaper Adhesive is a breeze. First, prep the surface where you'll apply the wallpaper. Clean it well to remove dirt, residue, and old wallcoverings.
